Australia: Oct 19, 2010 – NPWS Investigates Horse Shooting In Kosciuszko

The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is investigating the illegal shooting of four wild horses whose bodies were found on the Barry Way south of Jindabyne within Kosciuszko National Park.

NPWS Southern Ranges Regional Manager, Dave Darlington, said today that he’s very concerned about this latest incident.

We are thrilled to report that following a massive public outcry, the West Australian Government has called off the planned aerial killing of wild horses at Lake Gregory in the Kimberleys.
